Far From the Apple Tree in the Press
We're delighted with the amount of press our trailer has been getting.

‘FAR FROM THE APPLE TREE’ IS BEAUTIFUL, EERIE, AND ENIGMATIC
Over a year ago, we ran a story on a gorgeous indie vampire flick called Night Kaleidoscope. It was immediately apparent that director Grant McPhee was able to achieve far beyond what most would expect from such a modest budget and resources, and the film didn’t disappoint. Check it out if you haven’t already. But now McPhee is at it once again, and this time he’s looking to push the boundaries of independent film making even further with FAR FROM THE APPLE TREE.
The team set up their own home-built film lab in order to create the highly stylized visuals of the movie, shooting on a wide variety of formats including: 35mm, 16mm, 8mm, home processing, betamax, Pixelvision and Red. All with no VFX being used. Beyond that, the flick looks downright intriguing as well. Go ahead and check out the debut trailer below, and let us know what you think. We’ll keep you updated with release details as they come our way.
